The weekly pack

SS 1777 5599

Every Monday you are matched into a pack of runners at your level. Finish in the top fifth and you are promoted up an eight-tier ladder, from Rookie to Legend.

The weekly ladder: eight tiers from Rookie to Legend, your pack in Regional, one place below the promotion line.

Strides

SS 1700 5591

Every run is scored against your own usual pace: distance times effort, capped between 0.7 and 1.5. Run harder than usual and each kilometre counts for more, so a gutsy 5K can beat an easy 10K.

Same week, two runners: Alex runs a 5K well above usual pace and scores 7.5 Strides; Sam's easy 10K scores 7.0.

A team journey on the South West Coast Path: 540 of 1,014 km run together, past Land's End, next stop Plymouth.

Journeys and climbs

SS 1755 5584

Groups pool their kilometres to walk famous routes, from Hadrian's Wall to the South West Coast Path, or race each other up Everest one metre of climb at a time.

An elevation race up Everest: four runners on the mountain's silhouette, you ahead of Dan at 5,600 metres.
Everest, versus mode: everyone climbs their own metres.
A 5K time-trial duel card over a photo of two runners at sunset: you lead Chris W. by 24 seconds, ends Sunday.
Duels are scored on effort, so it is a fair fight whatever your pace.

Duels and the feed
